Dessert Theater at Marlborough High School

At 7 p.m., Nov. 15 and 16, the Marlborough High School Drama Club will host its annual Dessert Theater, which combines student-directed and student-produced, one-act plays with some tasty treats. This year’s three plays are:

  • “Thank You for Flushing My Head in the Toilet (and other lesser said phrases),” a play about bullying directed by senior Veronica Hutton.
  • “A Play with Words,” a comedy full of word play and puns directed by senior Erinn Farmer.
  • “Anna and August,” a romantic comedy directed by senior Brian Stangle
Complimentary desserts will be served at intermission. MHS English teacher and Drama Club Advisor Chris Henry is providing production resources. Sarah Worrest, a director with Up With The Arts in Hudson, is supervising director. Tickets are $8 for students and seniors citizens, and $10 for adults. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online through showtix4u at http://tinyurl.com/desserttheatre2013.
