Scott Hill, Neighbor

Scott has been a resident of Marlborough for the past 12 years, moving from Framingham at the age of ten. He graduated from Marlborough High School in 2007, and continued his education at Lasell College. At Lasell he majored in Sport Management and minored in Sport Communication. During his time there, he realized he wanted to pursue a career in sport journalism after taking related classes and writing for the school newspaper, the 1851 Chronicle. 

Since graduating this past May, Scott has been trying to break into the competitive field of sports journalism. The Patch is his first time writing professionally, covering the athletic teams at Marlborough High. 

Scott hopes to one day be able to write for a living, covering the National Hockey League, namely the Boston Bruins. 

In his spare time, Scott enjoys watching and playing almost all sports and spending time with his family and his girlfriend. He rarely leaves the house without a Bruins hat or t-shirt on, but even under these rare circumstances he is always proudly wearing his Bruins tattoo on his arm.
