I am glad his body found a resting place. I am not sure if all points raised here are moot.
Just to answer your question "Why must America always set an example?" Because we should expect more from ourselves, even if others don't. -

ReplyFirst Church in Marlborough Congregational UCC will be available tomorrow for individual prayers and silent reflection from 9 AM to 10 AM. The pastor will be there too in case folks want someone to pray with. The church is on 37 High Streer.

ReplyIf people want to pray and reflect for peace, healing, the vicitms and their families, all the affected and even for the (yet) unknown perpetrators - First Church in Marlborough on 37 High Street will be open tomorrow from 9 AM to 10 AM. There will be no formal service - just time for indivudual silent prayers. The minister will be available if people want someone to pray with

ReplyIs there a reasonable expectation of silence and privacy at the gym? That's the question. I don't think so - so there is no reason to ban phones. However, businesses might choose to cater to a non-cell phone clientele. That's their and their customer's choice

My Mum used to say, that you do things that are right not for the reward - cause you don't get one - not for the praise - because you will be sorely disappointed - but because its the right thing to do.
