    I ate at the Bagel Cafe for the first time last week and loved it. I'll definitely be back. The bagel was fresh and they didn't scrimp on the cream cheese. Yum! Thanks.

    A Modesto man who stayed at Pinto Lake County Park recently just sent in this comment/review of the RV park:
    My wife and I live in the Modesto area. As you may have heard early July was going to great us with some very hot weather. I talked to the 3 couples (our friends) that usually RV with us about planning a get away. They asked me to find an RV park far enough from the heat. Because I started looking on such short notice, most of the RV parks closest to us on or near the coast were full. We had past signs for Pinto Lake on many of our trips up and down the coast, this time I decided to call. Pinto Lake had 4 sites available so we reserved them for July 6th through the 10th.
    When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the park was. Its clean, well maintained and quiet. The staff is very polite and helpful, especially Candy a very hard working person. Her people management skills are very very good. Once you meet her you may consider writing a story about her. The city leaders really need to publicly acknowledge the staff at Pinto Lake for a job well done. City leaders should visit the staff at the park or spend a day with Candy (if the can keep up with her) to see the great job they are all doing.
    All of our friends liked the park so much we made reservations our second day there to return for the New Year holiday. I told the staff there I would be writing a comment on their behalf as a thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one.
