ReplyScandal-Plagued IRS Building Massive New National Database of Americans -known as the "Federal Data Services Hub." The project is taking the IRS's own records (for income and employment status) and centralizing them with information from Social Security (identity), Homeland Security (citizenship), Justice (criminal history), HHS (enrollment in entitlement programs and certain medical claims data) and state governments (residency).
This new IRS database "Data Hub" will be used as the verification system for Obamacare's complex subsidy formula. All insurer's, self-insured businesses and government health programs must submit reports to the IRS about the individual's they cover, which the IRS will cross-check against tax returns.
Regarding: Sarah Hall Ingram - most troubling, however are reports that the woman in charge of the IRS division that targeted conservative organizations, Sarah Hall Ingram, is now in charge of implementing Obamacare for the agency."

ReplyThere are no jobs in Construction @Jonathan Parker, when an "app" can be put on your cellphone, mobile device, laptop etc.-and online gambling via the "app" takes the place of an old-fashioned, brick-and-mortor style casino. Fresh drinking water in the area/Hockomock Swamp/Water-Aquifer(s)/Snake River, and how many gallons they are planning on using is also a problem. The list of social ills goes on and on. Traffic congestion, try getting to the cape if you own a 2nd-vacation home and think you are going to have smooth sailing down Rte 495 or Rte 24-north/south. The line of traffic at the bridges-Bourne/Sagamore, will be a parking lot....worse than now.

Reply@ deb of see-Attleboro: Your comment on Eminent Domain is spot-on. That is exactly the problem that Easton is having with the proposed casinos in the area; and the bike path's. Town Planner Gary Anderson from Manchester, CT. Google a search. Thanks for mentioning it here.
Eminent Domain: The inherent power of a governmental entity to take privately owned property, esp. land, and convert it to public use, subject to reasonable compensation for the taking. Definition source: Black's Law Dictionary 9th Edition.

Reply"No Thanks" to a casino in Easton or surrounding communities. Where is the outcry from the Easton Public School Department? Where is the outcry from the school teachers? All the social-ills from casino gambling.
Gary Anderson - your ideas as a so-called town planner are not welcome here in Easton. You are from Connecticut, what group paid you to come to Easton?
"No thanks" to your ideas of taking private property owned by homeowners either, under the guise of a bike path. Your ulterior motives are quite clear, and you do not have the town of Easton's best interests in mind.
@Patch editors -would you like to insert the graphs & charts that were published in Boston.com and in the Boston Herald that indicate how much money the school departments in each of the towns/cities were hoping to receive. Perhaps that is why there is no public outcry from the school departments. All about the money.
What about the harmful effects of casino gambling on the children? Your children. Your grandchildren.

ReplyAt $60,000 worth of CPA-Community Preservation Act funds at consideration here, and then asking Residents and Taxpayers to appropriate that type of money for these causes, is it possible to consider using crushed sea & oyster/clam shells and environmentally friendly products, to the "parking improvements" suggested above in the article. Please - no more paved parking lots. Crushed stone also works well for these types of projects.

ReplyThis is all preventable. It should be common sense to take care of your animal, and no need at all to file bills due to negligent behavior on the part of the animal owners. I trust a no-kill shelter will be involved, finding good loving homes for the dogs, cats & pets who are in this type of unfortunate type of situation.
