ReplyI think McGovern needs to focus more on taking care of Americans. I agree with David Perry: "Since when were they elected to represent the Sudanese?"
With his arrest, it may be that Mc Govern is just where he belongs!
Go back to your office Jim and start trying to solve America's problems!

ReplyThis is a disgrace. With governors like Deval Patrick, the rule of law is being undermined.
Currently, U.S. Code Title 8, Chapter 12, Subchapter II, Part VIII, sec 1325 passed by Congress, signed by the President and which provides criminal penalties for crashing our borders is not being enforced at the state and federal levels.
We are a nation of laws. We must have the will, courage, and fortitude to enforce with compassion, but without apology, those laws that protect the integrity of our borders and our rights as lawful citizens.
Illegal immigrants are just that: ILLEGAL. By crashing our borders they have violated our criminal code; and a significant number of illegal immigrants have violated other laws by causing damage to life or property. What portion of the word illegal does Governor Patrick not understand?
America seems to be on a downward path and will remain so until our elected officials develop some ethics and have greater respect for the rule of law.

Ruling Obamacare constitutional strikes a terrible blow against states rights and the long established concept of federalism.
I have no problem with the various states implementing their own Obamacare type plan at the state level, if their citizens want it. However, the federal government should not be involved. There is just too much temptation to use the federal government as a slush fund because the feds can just issue debt and then print money to cover the costs. The states are limited in that regard because most are required by law to balance their budgets every year and they can't run the monetary printing presses to monetize the debt as the federal government can to provide free stuff to the general public.
