ReplyForgot to mention the strong effort from an enthusiastic group from Energy Federation, Inc. on Washington St. in Westborough that cleaned the cloverleaf area at Rt. 135/9 and was largely responsible for cleaning heavily trashed Bridle Lane. Thanks very much EFI!

Thanks for your comment, Ron. Gonna' have to check out the boat launch more closely. Unfortunately - and it is painful to say this - we can't pick up trash from private property, like from the shores of those houses on Lyman St. We also can't - and were reprimanded for doing it years ago - clean up from the State Hospital property. We also can't ask people to collect trash out on the water below the surface.
On the "what we can do" side, I will say there is lots of trash to be picked up on public land. We'll have our hands full Saturday. Hopefully see you out there. As you've seen, we can use all the help we can get.
Finally, very tough day for Boston and our country yesterday.
