ReplyYes, we plan to try the train, but I wish the service would be daily--year-round.
People need to travel to & from the Cape every day. Not just summer weekends.

ReplyThe town of Hudson remodeled and enhanced it's existing senior center.
Plenty of vacant buildings and parcels of land are available for sale in Marlboro. The city can easily purchase one of these sites, and build without taking park land away from our kids.

ReplyWhat to they mean, "No alternative sites?" Marlboro has plenty of vacant property and sites available for purchase.
In the 1920's Ward Park was given to the youth of Marlboro. This park must continue to serve as intended. As much as Marlboro needs a new Senior Center, children need a place to play and grow.
The wishes of the taxpayers must be considered. Mr. Mayor & city councilors, search out and purchase an alternative location. They ARE available.

ReplyThere are many vacant buildings in Marlboro which can be purchased and renovated for a senior center. The former auto dealership on Maple St., St Anne's Church on Lincoln St., plus parcels of land for sale near the Northboro line.
There is no reason to build on Ward Park------none what so ever!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope that the mayor and city council read these comments.
