Theft - Case No. 130110 Feb. 21, 2013 Hannaford in Milford  Case Details: On Feb. 21, someone entered Hannaford in Milford and redeemed 33 cents from the supermarket's Coinstar machine, Milford Police tell Mass Most Wanted. The person then used a fraudulent Coinstar receipt for $89.24 to buy something at the supermarket, pocketing the change. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Milford Police at 508-473-1113.

Hannaford Praised During Health Inspection

Hannaford Supermarket received a positive health inspection.

A recent health inspection of Hannaford Supermarket prompted responses of "good job" and "very good job." We have the details of the health inspection listed below. Hannaford 193 Boston Post Road W. Owner: Corporate Violations: 2 Notes: The overall comments on the inspection were “very good job, excellent response during inspection.” A violation came from sanitizer being low at one station as well as a low volume and temperature at the handwashing sink in the deli. The cooler and deli cases were are the proper temperature with “Good job!” in the notes. Hannaford Recalls Contaminated Beef Products

Check the meat you have in the fridge as it could contain some dangerous salmonella bacteria.

Hannaford is voluntarily recalling ground beef, according to its website.
