Alleged Drug Dealer Arrested While Speeding

Police have charged a man with distributing marijuana after reportedly finding marijuana and cocaine in his car after a traffic stop.

A traffic stop for speeding turned into an arrest for drug possession and dealing in Marlborough Thursday. When police pulled over Nelson A. Rodriguez, 32, of 38 Cotting Ave. Apt. 3 on Boston Post Road East shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday, they arrested him on charges of a susequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended licensen and speeding. Only after he was being booked and his car was searched did drug charges follow. "His vehicle was inventoried at which point they discovered two glass mason jars inside the vehicle," said Det. Scott DeCiero of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department. "One of the jars had approximately one ounce of marijuana." Another mason jar in the car was found to have six …

Masked Robber, Cocaine and Drinking Binge

The Marlborough police dealt with a masked robber and an alleged cocaine dealer this week.

Marlborough police made a number of arrests this week, but three major incidents began the week. An alleged cocaine dealer was arrested in the city. The woman reportedly told police she moved 10 grams of cocaine a week in order to help with her bills. A masked robber didn't disguise himself well enough when he allegedly robbed a delivery person. The delivery person reportedly identified the knife-wielding robber and police promptly arrested him. A reported three week drinking binge landed one man in jail. After he was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, police were reportedly told by his wife that he had been on a drinking binge.

Alleged Cocaine Dealer Released on $15,000 Bail

A Marlborough woman reportedly admitted to dealing cocaine after being arrested Friday.

An Marlborough woman reportedly told police she sold cocaine to people in the Marlborough and Hudson area after she was caught with 14 grams of the drug bagged for sale in her apartment in Marlborough. "(Pacheco) also admitted she picks up 10 grams of cocaine once a week, brings it home ... and packages the narcotics up there into salable increments," said Marlborough Police Det. John Manning. "She also admitted that she sells the cocaine to cocaine users around the Marlborough and Hudson area for profit to help her in paying her bills." On Friday at 6:30 p.m., police arrested Jaqueline S. Shoplifters Caught with Heroin at Solomon Pond Mall

Three people have been charged with heroin and crack cocaine possession after one was caught shoplifting.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting Tuesday, but ended up leveling charges of drug possession against three people. Police were called to JC Penney at the Solomon Pond Mall on Tuesday after a woman who was later identified as Courtney Elizabeth O'Reilly, 33, of 53 Alder Street in Waltham was detained for allegedly taking a Keurig Coffee maker and a pack of coffee and tea. Police interviewed the woman and discovered she had produced a stolen New Hampshire drivers license when she had been detained and maintained that identity while being interviewed by police. It has been busy for Marlborough Police.

The Marlborough Police have been busy this month. With the arrest of an allegged drug dealer, police injuries and attacks on police officers the interaction between criminals and police seems to never cease. The month started off with a major bust of seven men, two of whom were from Marlborough, in an underage sex sting. The men allegedly went to the Econolodge Inn in Northborough seeking sex after being told to bring money. Massachusetts State Police, police from Northborough, Worcester and Fitchburg conducted the bust. Marlborough Police earlier this month busted a man alleged to be a dealer of cocaine in the city. Drug Buys, GPS Tracking Lead to Arrest

A man accused of dealing drugs and currently wanted by police may have been dealing in heroin according to the findings of a search warrant.

Confidential informants, controlled drug buys and GPS tracking formed the core of a search warrant that lead to the arrest of a man alleged to have been selling large amounts of cocaine in Marlborough. Police arrested Joshua Chevez, 20, of 21 Preston Street in Marlborough at his home on September 27 after they executed a search warrant for the residence. There is an active warrant out for him after he failed to appear in court. A number of charges have been leveled at Chavez as a result of cocaine and money found in his apartment, but the report back from the search warrant reveals more could follow. Police Search for Alleged Cocaine Dealer

An alleged drug dealer is wanted on a warrant after not appearing in court.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Marlborough man that has been accused of dealing cocaine and other drugs after he did not appear in court. Police arrested Joshua Chevez, 20, of 21 Preston Street in Marlborough at his home on September 27 after they executed a search warrant for the residence. He posted bail that night and was directed to appear in court the following day but did not appear, according to Marlborough Police. His whereabouts are currently unknown. There is an active warrant out for him on two charges of drug violation near a school/park, class D and B drug possession to distrubute, drug possession class B, conspiracy to violate drug law and conspiracy. Drug Charges Follow ATF Raid

A Marlborough man has been charged with drug distribution following a search Thursday by State and Marlborough Police with the assistance of the ATF.

Police have charged a Marlborough man with drug possession with the intent to distribute following a search conducted Thursday with agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). "Agents from the ATF assisted us with executing the warrant," said Detective Scott DeCiero, of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department, who explained that a State Police canine unit helped to search the property. Police arrested Joshua Chevez, 20, of 21 Preston Street in Marlborough in his home after they executed a search warrant for the residence. Speeding Stop Nets Drug Bust on Framingham Road

Police discovered cocaine after one driver could not contain his nervousness.

A Framingham man was arrested Sunday on cocaine possession and distribution charges after police became suspicious due to the man's "uncontrollable shaking."  During a motor vehicle stop for speeding in the vicinity of 84 Framingham Rd., a Marlborough police officer arrested Carlos Barrientos, 46, of 17 Second St., Apt. 11, Framingham, after he discovered several baggies of cocaine and more than $200 in cash.  The drugs were discovered after Barrientos gave police a registration belonging to another person and was behaving in an extremely nervous manner.  "He was trembling uncontrollably, and the training and experience of the officer led him to believe that there was criminal activity involved here," said Det.
