A man from Honduras has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly smothering a woman.
A fight between a man and woman over the weekend resulted in an attempted murder charge when the man allegedly tried to smother the woman. "She stated she was strangled," said Marlborough Officer Scott Carey who was told by the woman she was also threatened by the man later identified Ever-Jose Rivera-Espinales, 24, of 22 Mount Pleasant Street Apt. 22. "He told her that he would come back from Honduras to kill her if she made him get deported." Police placed Rivera-Espinales into custody and took the woman to the police station to talk. The incident allegedly started Saturday morning when the woman returned to the apartment she shared with Rivera-Espinales. A man allegedly choked a person into unconsciousness and threatened them with a BB gun.
Marlborough police arrested David J. McGuire Jr. Sunday after he allegedly choked a victim into unconsciousness and threatened them with a BB gun. "David brandished a gun (BB) from a bureau drawer and chambered back the slide," wrote Officer Victor Linnell in a police report. "At this point [the victim] was in fear for her life not knowing the weapon was just a BB gun." McGuire, 36, of 5 Mohican Path had strangled the victim until she went unconscious prior to brandishing the gun, according to court documents. When she woke up he produced the gun he stated he would kill the woman and her daughter, according to the police report. A Framingham man faces attempted murder and other charges in connection with a domestic disturbance Sunday night. Police arrested Eric J. Linehan, 22, of 30 Wilson Ave., Framingham, at 8:49 p.m. after responding to a reported domestic disturbance at 121 Pleasant St. Linehan faces charges of attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, witness intimidation, impeding an investigation and permitting serious injury to an elderly or disabled person. A Framingham man will face charges in Marlborough after Wareham Police located him in an area hotel.
The Wareham Police Department has made an arrest related to the early Sunday morning stabbings on Berlin Road in Marlborough. Shortly before 11 a.m., the Wareham Police in conjunction with SEMLEC SWAT responded to the Silver Lake Motel, 3126 Cranberry Hwy. in Wareham, where they arrested without incident Joseph Nsubuga, 22, of 24A Second St., Framingham. Described by police at the time of the incident as a house party gone wrong, Nsubuga is suspected to be the individual that left two women with life-threatening stab wounds.
