Man Caught with Drugs Near Hildreth School
Drug and weapons charges have been leveled at a man who was arrested within 1,000 feet of the Hildreth School.
A suspicious vehicle caught two patrolman's eyes on Monday night, leading to an arrest on drug and weapons charges. “The operator was reaching around inside the vehicle when the officers approached it," said Detective Scott DeCiero of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department. Police had the man, identified as Corey Cheney, 22, of 18 Hastings Street, exit the vehicle shortly before 9:30 p.m. After searching the vehicle, they found brass knuckles, 21 Percoccet and half a Suboxone, according to court documents.
