Tsongas Stresses Importance of Connecting with Marlborough

Congresswoman Niki Tsongas spoke with the Marlborough Patch about the importance of connecting with constituents during a Congress on Your Corner program.

As people filled the entryway to the Senior Center Tuesday night they were seeking the same thing: face time with Marlborough's U.S. Congresswoman Niki Tsongas (D-Lowell). "A woman just came in to say hello and express her concerns across the board," said Congresswoman Tsongas who has done 70 Congress on Your Corner visits across the district. "We just hear across the board." Every person who came to the event got the same treatment — a one-on-one meeting with their congressional representative. Marlborough is the third of 11 new communities in her district that the congresswoman has visited. "We do represent a whole host of communities," said Congresswoman Tsongas. Tsongas to Represent Marlborough in Congressional Redistricting [POLL]

Currently represented by James McGovern, the proposed plans would put Marlborough under the representation of Congresswoman Niki Tsongas.
