Woman Bites Security Guard

A woman was arrested Monday after allegedly shoplifting and then biting a security guard as she attempted to make her escape.

When two women who had allegedly been shoplifting at J.C. Penney were confronted by a security guard, one let her mouth do the talking as she allegedly bit a security guard shortly before noon on Monday. "Carline Paul bit one of the security officers," said Detective Scott DeCiero of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department. Carline Paul, 26, of 68A Millbury Avenue in Millbury and Serxhane Kajtazi, 20, of 26 Louise Street Apt. 3 in Worcester had been stuffing clothing, jewelry and sheets into bags at the store, according to police officials and reports.
