Marlborough Man Leads Police on Chase After Hitting Cruiser
Police are investigating whether Marlborough resident James Mullin was intoxicated when he allegedly led police on a high-speed chase in Rhode Island Monday morning.
According to a press release from the Rhode Island State Police, two Massachusetts residents were responsible for the high-speed chase from North Kingstown to Boston Neck Road in Narragansett on Monday morning. James Mullin, 23, of 153 Main St. in Marlborough was identified as the driver of the vehicle. Amy Iacovelli, 20, of 33 Smith Road, Hopkinton was also in the car. Mullin was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, obstruction of justice, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.
