Two Women Charged with OUI, Drugs

A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of two people on Rawlins Avenue.

Two women were arrested Sunday following a traffic stop, with charges that include operating under the influence of liquor and having unregistered mace. At 10:59 p.m. on Sunday, police pulled over a car on Rawlins Avenue, driven by Brittany Gray, 25, of 571 Silver St., Rollingsford, N.H., according to police records. Police had observed her vehicle and made the stop for traffic violations, said Detective Scott DeCiero of the Marlborough Police Community Services Bureau. Police arrested Gray on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, improper operation of a motor vehicle, harsh or objectionable noise from a motor vehicle and refusing to identify herself or giving a false name. 3rd OUI With Child in Car

Police allege a Marlborough man had his 2 year-old son in the car while driving under the influence of drugs.

A Marlborough man is out on bail with conditions that include no driving after he was charged with his third operating under the influence charge while his two year-old son was in the car. "The officer began to converse with Payson and noticed his speech was slurred and slow," said Hudson Sgt. Chad Perry in the police report concerning the Sept. 20 incident. Richard Payson, 35, of 141 Howe Street Apt. 2 had been approached by Hudson Patrolman Michael Vroom in the parking lot of the Hudson Wal-Mart. The officer had been flagged down by a witness who reported that Payson had been "all over the road" while driving down Washington Street before hitting a curb, according to the police report. Baby on Board: Mom gets OUI with 2 year-old in Car

A mother was charged with her third OUI on East Main Street while her two year-old child was in the car.

Police arrested a mother for her third OUI while her two year-old was in the back of the car. “We received calls of an erratic operator and the officer observed the vehicle," said Detective Scott DeCiero from the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department. "He followed the vehicle. It drifted over the center line." Marlborough Police Officer Scott King began following the Chevy Cobalt on East Main Street at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday after a call was made by a driver that had been behind the car, according to his police report.
