This sweet girl named Cookie has been missing, and her family misses her. Cookie was last seen near the high school in Marlborough, specifically Worcester Street. Her home is on Longfellow Terrace. She is friendly, 12 years old, small and not waering a collar. She is also very vocal. If you see her of have any information, please contact Cookie's parent, Jaime.

Marlborough Patch caught up with some of Marlborough High School's senior's on National Decision Day.
National Decision Day took place May 1 with high school seniors making their final decisions on what college they will attend in the fall. The Class of 2013's Valedictorian Chris Syers has chosen Notre Dame while Salutatorian Joe Babcock has chosen the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Marlborough Patch caught up with other seniors to find out where they had decided to go to school. This year, 295 seniors are set to graduate with Scott Brown as the commencement speaker on June 2. Brown was asked to speak by graduating senior Alex Pelletier.

The Marlborough High School has one warning status from the New England Association of Schools & Colleges remaining.
The Marlborough High School has achieved re-accredidation and has had a warning status removed. "We are extremely pleased to receive such good news," said Interim Superintendent Dr. Steven Dlott in a press release from the district. The New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC) Committee on Public Secondary Schools unanimously removed the warning status, according to the press release. The school has one remaining warning status of "Standard on Assessment of and for Student Learning" that the committee would consider removing pending more information on the implementation of school wide rubrics. Students at the high school are embracing their first graduation speaker in over 10 years.
Students at Marlborough High School are enthusiastic about their first graduation speaker in over a decade after Scott Brown agreed to speak at commencement. "I ran through a list of people in my mind that would be all-around acceptable to the student body ... someone who has meaning to people and is widely accepted," said Senior Alex Pelletier. "Scott Brown came to mind as a respected person in the local community. A lot of people think he is a great person and I agree." Brown will speak at the school's commencement on June 2 after Pelletier contacted him with a list of students who had signed on asking him to speak. A group of Marlborough High students won a state-wide aviation engineering contest and received an award from Lt. Governor, Tim Murray.
Calling themselves team "WingIt," a group of Marlborough High School students received a first-place prize Tuesday in a state-wide aircraft engineering contest. Winning the contest for three years in a row, the team will travel to Washington DC later in April to pit their design against more than 100 schools from across the country. "This is a real world experience most students our age don't get the chance to have," Ben Shepherd, a member of the team, said. In this year's contest, teams competed to design an unmanned aerial vehicle that could locate people in need of rescue with on-board cameras.
