Man with BB Gun, Cocaine Arrested After Running from Police

The Marlborough Police Department had one man in custody late Sunday evening after reported suspicious activity and a short chase.

A Marlborough man ended Sunday night in police custody after he showed what was thought to be a handgun and took police on a short car chase.  Sometime after 8 p.m., Marlborough police received a call saying that a man was acting suspiciously at the  gas station on East Main Street, and appeared to be carrying a "black gun" in his waistband.  Officers traced the plates on a Lexus the suspect was driving to Derek P. Azzolino, 20, of 25 Royal Crest Dr., Apt. 11, and as they approached the address saw the vehicle fleeing the property. Police then observed Azzolino speeding and crossing the dividing lines on street, said Det. Scott DeCiero. 2 Marlborough Men Charged With Kidnapping Framingham Man

Two Marlborough men faced serious charges in Framingham District Court Tuesday, after it was reported they kidnapped a Framingham man over the weekend.

Over the weekend, a Framingham man, told police, two men kidnapped him and drove him around MetroWest and demanded he return thousands of dollars to them. The Framingham man, whom police did not identify, reported the incident to Framingham Police at 5:23 p.m. Sunday. He told police the two men showed a gun and threatened him, police said. On Monday, Framingham police arrested Dakota Aube, 21, of 23 Mt. Pleasant St., Apt. C, and Jason Sewell, 25, of 21 Mt. Pleasant St., Apt. C, both of Marlborough, on warrants. They were charged with kidnapping with a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon, said Framingham Police Lt. Ronald Brandolini. The two were arraigned in Framingham District Court on Tuesday. Wareham Police Arrest Suspect in Berlin Road Stabbings

A Framingham man will face charges in Marlborough after Wareham Police located him in an area hotel.

The Wareham Police Department has made an arrest related to the early Sunday morning stabbings on Berlin Road in Marlborough.  Shortly before 11 a.m., the Wareham Police in conjunction with SEMLEC SWAT responded to the Silver Lake Motel, 3126 Cranberry Hwy. in Wareham, where they arrested without incident Joseph Nsubuga, 22, of 24A Second St., Framingham.   Described by police at the time of the incident as a house party gone wrong, Nsubuga is suspected to be the individual that left two women with life-threatening stab wounds. UPDATE: Marlborough Police Seeking Public's Help in Sunday Stabbing

Marlborough Police are still developing leads in the wake of a Sunday early a.m. house party gone terribly wrong.

UPDATE, 2:30 p.m.: The Marlborough Police Department issued a statement to local media Monday afternoon saying that the Sunday morning stabbing on Berlin Road that sent three individuals to area hospitals is still under investigation.  They are asking that anyone with information come forward and contact: Detective Steve Lupien at 508-485-1212 ext. 6947 or email slupien@marlborough-ma.gov; or Detective Matt Hassapes 508-485-1212 ext. 6945 or email mhassapes@marlborough-ma.gov. Marlborough Man is Killed in New Hampshire Hunting Accident

A young Marlborough resident lost his life after being accidentally shot while hunting in Lisbon, NH Wednesday morning.

According to New Hampshire police officials, a Marlborough man was killed in an opening day hunting accident early Wednesday.  Kenneth Brunelle, 31, was shot while deer hunting with a firearm in Lisbon, NH, said a statement from the New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game.  "A 31-year-old man who was hunting with his father and brother on the opening day of New Hampshire's firearms deer hunting season was fatally shot today at approximately 8 a.m. by another hunter in the vicinity," said officials. "The man was pronounced dead at the scene." The incident occurred off of Mt. Eustis Road in Lisbon. The alleged shooter was unrelated the victim and was not with his hunting party. UPDATE: Suspect Held Without Bail in Park Street Attempted Murder

Both men arrested are still in police custody after an arraignment in Marlborough District Court on Thursday.

Oct. 21, 12:30 p.m.: Both individuals arrested in the raucous disturbance on Park Street early Thursday morning are still in police custody, say Marlborough District Court records. One man is being held without bail on multiple assault and attempted murder charges, while a second man has been charged with being an accessory and on firearm charges.  Rhomal Yuvini Silva, 25, of 44 Park St., Apt. 402, is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing that is to be Wednesday, Oct. 26.  Jesus A. Silva, 21, of 44 Park St., Apt. 402, is also in police custody as of Friday afternoon, and is being held on $10,000 cash or $100,000 bond. He will face accessory before the fact and gun charges when he returns to court Friday, Nov. 18.  …

100 Years Ago: Crow, Not Man, Shot at the City Farm

As June 25 fell on a Sunday in 1911, and the Marlboro Daily Enterprise did not publish on Sundays, we are running a headline from the issue of June 26.  June 26, 1911: Crow, Not Man, Shot at the City Farm A man shot at the city farm, was the thrilling news sent to the police station this Monday morning. The machinery of the department was put in operation, but it was found to be a case of shooting crows.  Warden B.W. Wheeler was in the woods of the farm and shot at one of the corn lovers. Police Capture Armed Robbery Suspects, Go Free on Bail/Recognizance

The Marlborough Police Department captured two suspects Friday evening after they robbed a local business at gunpoint.

After the Marlborough Police Department responded to an armed robbery 911 call at Tedeschi's Food Shop Friday evening, two men were identified and captured nearby. Those men faced a judge on Monday; one of them is now free and the other has had bail set at $500 pending a status hearing, reports the MetroWest Daily News. Shortly after 10 p.m. Friday evening, police received a call from the clerk at Tedeschi's stating that the store had been robbed.  "Two individuals went into the Chestnut Street store and robbed it of alcohol," said Detective Martha Shea. Framingham Man Charged with Armed Robbery of Broad Street Store

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 3 police responded to the report of an armed robbery of the 7-Eleven on Broad St.

Hours after the 7-Eleven on Broad St. was robbed early Tuesday morning, the Marlborough Police Department apprehended and charged a Framingham man who had absconded with an undisclosed amount of cash. At 12:42 a.m. police received a call reporting an armed robbery at 92 Broad St. When they arrived the suspect was gone leaving no trace, said Det. Martha Shea. After mounting an investigation that utilized a K-9 unit from the Massachusetts State Police as well as the expertise of Marlborough police detectives, Louis Torres, 20, of Framingham, was arrested on suspicion of the crime.
