Westborough: David Grey Collins, 26, of Grafton, formerly of Westborough, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 23 in Grafton. He was the husband of Cassandra L. Furbish. David was a graduate of Westborough High School and was currently a consultant in the computer field. Marlborough: Joseph "Big Joe" Serio III, 34, of Marlborough, formerly of Waltham, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, Nov. 28, at his home. Westborough: Richard J. “Dick” Holt, 80, died peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 29. He received his Bachelor and Master’s of Science degrees from Boston College and he was also a PhD candidate and Teaching Fellow at Harvard, which he left to co-found Weston Geophysical Engineering, Inc. at Weston Observatory. Cancer Claims Two and WWII Veteran Dies

Melody Rene Bohl, of Newtonville, Massachusetts died October 25 in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after an intense three month battle with cancer. Elaine E. Gesell, 73, of Westborough, died on Thursday, October 25 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northborough after a courageous battle with cancer. Richard C. (Dick) McCleary passed away on October 26 at age 87. The cause of death was interstitial lung disease. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Francesca, four children, Rita, Richard, Gregory, and Louise, and three grandchildren. He served in World War II and taught as a professor.

Deborah L. Papile of Marlborough, 49 years old, died unexpectedly on Wednesday last week. Papile was born in Marlborough; the daughter of Louie & Lorrie Papile. She graduated from Marlborough High School in 1982 and was employed by Digital, Compaq and Hewlett Packard for 25 years. Visiting hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
