Man says sorry for scaring a woman in the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru, and more.
Editor's Note: Patch has no control over the status of these posts on Craigslist and how long they remain available. What we learned this week: there are a few guys out there looking for pot smoking "buddies" to hang out with, people still don't know the difference between "you're" and "your," and there are lots of curb alerts. A Dunkin Debaucle (we didn't say drunken, we said Dunkin) A man issued a heartfelt apology on Craigslist, saying he is sorry he perhaps made a woman pee her pants in the Dunkin Donuts Drive-Thru in Marlborough recently. Apparently, the man was enraged when he saw the woman chuck an old iced coffee cup out the window. In anger, he picked up the cup, knocked on the window, asked if she had dropped something, and …

America runs on Dunkin, but what kinds of sales numbers does a Dunkin Donuts need to run?
The Dunkin Donuts at 54 Main Street could soon undergo a transformation that would allow for the installation of a drive-thru if the owner of the property has their way. As the owner and company plead their case, they revealed a slew of interesting numbers about this Dunkin Donuts and your average Dunkin Donuts. Let Patch save you time. Get great local stories like this delivered right to your inbox or smartphone everyday with our free newsletter. Simple, fast sign-up here. Officials from Dunkin Donuts and the owner of the land say the drive-thru is completely necessary to keep the store in the area. Dunkin Donuts will not renue the lease without a drive-thru. The matter was referred to Urban Affairs for further discussion.

After a long day, sometimes the best way to escape is to grab a tasty cup of coffee.
Whether you call it “joe” or “take” it regular, coffee is an important part of many lives. People rely on it to get their days going. From that first and best sip to the bottom of a second cup, we transform from groggy to mentally alert. Coffee has always been a social drink, the earliest coffeehouses dating back to sixteenth-century Istanbul! For moms, coffee undoubtedly meets the need for feeling awake, but it also conjures up an image of a break. Either in your favorite mug or handed to you at a drive-through, whether you're by yourself or in adult company, just add coffee and you have respite. All kinds of moms love to meet for coffee! There's the first-time mother, sleep-deprived and maybe feeling isolated. There's a toddler's mom who…

Well, it would surely start a "little more travel action" in Marlborough's Downtown area, besides The Vin Bin at that end of town anyway, right? Although, one of the Councilor's did point out that some folks have become a "little too imaginative", when it comes to getting and leaving Dunkin Donuts locations in the past? Could that be the "Java Rush", before & after their final destination? "Drink…   more ›
