Shoplifters Caught with Heroin at Solomon Pond Mall
Three people have been charged with heroin and crack cocaine possession after one was caught shoplifting.
Police responded to a report of shoplifting Tuesday, but ended up leveling charges of drug possession against three people. Police were called to JC Penney at the Solomon Pond Mall on Tuesday after a woman who was later identified as Courtney Elizabeth O'Reilly, 33, of 53 Alder Street in Waltham was detained for allegedly taking a Keurig Coffee maker and a pack of coffee and tea. Police interviewed the woman and discovered she had produced a stolen New Hampshire drivers license when she had been detained and maintained that identity while being interviewed by police.
