Look for a story on their efforts later this week.  3. The Marlborough Public Library's adult book club will meet today at 6:30 p.m. They will be discussing "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.  4. For elder residents looking to participate in some health and fitness activities today, the calendar at the Marlborough Senior Center is chalk-full of them.  5. Also, expect a lot of rain.  2. The Downey Insurance Company get a special mention to start this week because they are currently hosting a Facebook contest for Marlborough's cutest pet. The winner (the pet with the most likes) gets a $25 gift card.  3. There are some cats in MetroWest that need new home. If you feel so inclined, head on down to the MetroWest Animal Awareness Society and adopt a feline in need today! 4. Want to have a good time knitting? 1. Well, as of last evening the National Weather Service was predicting up to 2 inches of snow, but as of early this morning accumulation is not expected to go over an inch. The rain that is expected later in the day is sure to wash away any accumulation.  2. With the Boston Red Sox season beginning next week, and the slew of summer concerts starting up as well, the Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to be wary of ticket scams.
