Solomon Pond Mall to Open Early Black Friday

Solomon Pond Mall will be open even earlier on Nov. 23 this year to kick off Black Friday.

Black Friday will start during what some would consider the late Thanksgiving night rather than early Black Friday morning at Solomon Pond Mall this year. While Walmart locations across the rest of the country will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Massachusetts and Rhode Island’s Blue Laws prohibit the store to open that early in those two states. Instead, Walmart will open at 1 a.m., which is also the time many other retailers, including Target, plan to open for business on Black Friday. Shoppers don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to find out about the Black Friday sales at Walmart. The company already has released its circular for the sale. Ah yes, as the GIANT leads us towards violating ANOTHER family Holiday, so shall the rest follow! How long before they find a way around the 'Blue laws' and make everyone who works in retail work on Thanksgiving as well? Time to boycott this idiocy before it becomes reality, (and spoils another cherished family tradition).   more ›

Patch got the dirty details from the Marlborough Clean and Green Car Wash and got the details on some upcoming deep discounts.

Why are you guys "green"? Labadini: Green means eco-friendly, keeping the earth and the environment in mind. It's our theme, to clean cars with earth friendly chemicals, we recycle our water with a state of the art water raclaim system, we even have recycle bins for customers to …
