MetroWest-area readers came out in full force to vote for concert, entertainment and music venues in our latest poll.
In our most recent "Best of Patch: Readers' Choice poll, we asked readers and editors from 11 MetroWest-area Patch communities to submit one business or destination from their town or city to be included in a poll for "the best entertainment spot." We divided the choices into two polls: one focused on the Framingham area; the other included Northborough and a handful of nearby towns. Two businesses emerged as the winners of the respective polls: Amazing Things Art Center in Framingham The Celtic Tavern in Northborough It is important to note, though, that the other contestants in the polls received a lot of support, too. We asked Marlborough residents to name their favorite coffee spot in town, and this Lincoln Street business came out the clear victor.
Just about everyone loves a good cup of coffee, and Marlborough is fortunate to have many options when looking for that perfect brew including several well-known chains. But Marlborough decided to go local this week in the Best of Patch Readers' Choice contest. The Coffee Loft on Lincoln Street drew the most votes for its organic and artisanal blends of coffee and tea. The business also recently started serving food. "I think it is about the connection with the neighborhood and that we try to source everything locally," said owner Deborah Fairbanks.
