$10,000 Bail for Man Charged with Punching Woman in Face

A local man has paid $10,000 cash in bail after allegedly breaking into an apartment and punching a woman in the face.

A Sudbury man who allegedly punched a woman in the face after breaking into her apartment Saturday is out on $10,000 cash bail. "He entered the apartment and threatened to kill the female victim and punched her in the nose with a closed fist," said Det. Scott DeCiero of the Community Services Bureau of the Marlborough Police Department. When police arrived at the scene, they found the woman bleeding from the nose, but she refused medical attention. The man who allegedly hit her, later identified as Michael Koenig, 50, of 82 Phillips Road in Sudbury reportedly broke into the bedroom window of the victim's apartment on Broadmeadow Road shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday night.
