Marlborough Man Arraigned in Northborough on Child Rape Case

Jeffrey Chaulk was arraigned on charges of raping and assaulting a child under the age of 14 over a long period of time.

A Marlborough resident, originally from Northborough, was arraigned on rape and assault charges Wednesday in Westborough District Court, accused of having sex with a girl and giving her alcohol and pot when she was between the ages of 11 and 16. Jeffrey Chaulk, 51, 280 Elm St., Apt. 9, Marlborough, was arrested by Northborough police in cooperation with Marlborough police on a warrant Tuesday on charges of aggravated statutory rape of a child, three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and statutory rape of a child. Prosecutors asked for $25,000, according to TheDailyNorthborough, while McMaster, citing Chaulk’s cooperation during the investigation and arraignment, asked for $5,000. He appeared for arraignment in Marlborough District Court Thursday, Oct. 20, and was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing which was held Wednesday, Oct. 26.
