UPDATE: Slippery Roads; Two-Car Crash on 290
A two-car crash has occurred at the 290 connector.
Update: State police reported that this two-car crash occurred near exit 27 on 495 in Bolton. Tows were needed, but no personal injuries were reported. Original post: A scanner report shortly before 4 p.m. indicated that a two-car crash has occurred at the 290 connector in Marlborough. The alert also reports injuries. It is very similar to black ice out there in many spots - as I slid too - even though I was going very slow on a back road before my all wheel drive was actually able to stop. So be very careful everyone - leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you - and if you know you are coming to a stop sign - give yourself plenty of time to start slowing down before you stop.
