The Marlborough Senior Center is also home to the city's Council on Aging, a central hub on Main Street where seniorMore citizens, 60 years of age and older, can come for an array of activities and services. Interim Executive Director Jack Gracey and his staff are on hand at the office to assist seniors with anything they may need. Their website has a full calendar of weekend activities and classes available at the center.

South Middlesex Opportunity Council Childcare Services (SMOC) provides center- and family-based full-day, year-roundMore child care for infants to grade 5. The program runs during school vacations and summer months. Two meals and snacks are served daily. Tuition rates are affordable, with subsidies available to qualified families. Transportation can be arranged to and from home to the center or to and from public schools for school-age children. The Marlborough facility on Route 20 is an SMOC Child Care center. A family-based center is also available in Marlborough.
