Grafton — Helen M. Matuzek, 95, died peacefully April 21, 2013 at Pleasant Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brewster on Cape Cod after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. Helen then served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer during World War II. Following her military service she held a variety of secretarial and secretary supervisor positions. Northborough — Fred G. Knight, 82, of Northborough, died on April 22, 2013 in Westborough after an illness. During the 1950’s, he owned and operated Fred Knight Productions, a complete entertainment and talent agency. His 36-year working career at the former New England Frozen Foods in Southborough ended in 1993 upon retirement. Shrewsbury — Clayton H. Webber, of Worcester, died …

Beth dedicated her life to special needs education, achieving an extraordinary amount in her career that spanned over 35 years. She was the Administrator of Special Education at the Northbridge Public Schools, and Executive Director at the Southern Worcester County Education Collaborative. Grafton — Alfred J. "Boompa" Crepeau, 99, passed away April 19, 2013, at The Beaumont in Northbridge. Crepeau's skills were employed for many years at the Worcester Lunch Car Company where he worked as a finished carpenter producing many fine diners that are still operating all over New England. He served for over 6 years in various duty stations in Japan, South Korea and Europe as a specialist in Air Force intelligence and was honorably discharged in 1963. Milford — Edward J. Richards, 74, Deacon at St. James Church in South Grafton, died peacefully Tuesday April 16, 2013 from complications of esophageal cancer. He was ordained a Deacon April 22, 1995 serving only at St. James Catholic Church in South Grafton. Richards cherished being a parishioner of St. James, his vocation as a Deacon there and was in return loved by its parishioners and the other parishes in Grafton, St. Philips and St. Mary's. Bombing Victim Lu Lingzi Remembered Back Home

The Chinese national was studying statistics at Boston University. She was killed in Monday's bombing at the Boston Marathon.

A Chinese newspaper has identified the third Boston Marathon bombing victim as Lu Lingzu, a Boston University graduate student, according to the Associated Press. Lu, from Shenyang, China, was studying statistics in Boston. A second Chinese national and BU student, Zhou Danling, was also injured in the blasts. She is listed in stable condition in a Boston hospital, according to Chinese officials.  Lu's death has led to an outpouring from friends, family and concerned neighbors in China. Lu's Sina Weibo page already has 20,000 comments from shocked and upset friends (Sina Weibo is a Chinese social media service that combines Twitter- and Facebook-like features).  A former neighbor in China was elegiac when talking about Lu on his Sina Weibo…
