Marlborough — Lili (Huang) Chen, 74, of Marlborough died Monday, May 20, 2013 at home. She leaves her husband of 52 years, Daren Chen. She graduated from high school in China and later from nursing school. She worked as a nurse while in China and later as a dietary aide at Quincy Rehabilitation & Nursing Center for many years. She loved growing vegetables, sewing, was kind and compassionate, and adored her grandchildren. Grafton — Dr. Harland N. Hannon, a longtime Grafton physician died May 13, 2013 at Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by family at age 100. Dr. Hannon then came to Grafton in 1940 establishing his family practice and a well baby clinic on Worcester St. in North Grafton where he practiced until age 92. He was also affiliated with Worcester Memorial Hospital and served many area nursing homes. Westborough — William T. Black, 72, of Westborough, passed away after a brief illness on May 6, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Bill enjoyed a long career as an electrical engineer, retiring from Intel in 2001. Following his retirement he served as a substitute teacher in the Westborough Public Schools. Shrewsbury — Joseph Cudworth Duprey or affectionately known as Chubby, passed away on May 6, 2013 in Westborough, MA at the age of ninety. During the invasion of Normandy in WWII, he was severely wounded, being the only member of his platoon to survive a direct mortar shell hit. Later he went to work for the Commonwealth of Mass. in the Dept. of Environmental Management.
