This friendly little diner is set up in the back corner of the 42 Boston Post East shopping center and most of the cars in the lot are for this joint. There is an ever-changing specials board and endless pots of black tar coffee here. Pancakes and steak and eggs are a perpetual favorite here and Sunny Side seems to be exclusively patronized by Marlborough's retired community. There are several tall bar stools but most sit at the slick wooden booths.

My friends and I meet at the Sunnyside once a month for breakfast.

Food is good, and cooked to order. I love their berry fruit cup.

Everything about Sunnyside Cafe puts it over the top in my book. The service is fast and friendly, the menu extensive, the prices reasonable and every item tried between me, my friends and my husband, has been top notch, right down to the juice and coffee. My personal favorite is the waffle made with yogurt and topped with fresh fruit (not that canned pie-filling stuff) and a blend of yogurt and whipped cream. Tastes great and there is something just a *bit* more healthy about a waffle made with yogurt.
