This Weekend: MetroWest Festival of Trees

More than 200 decorated trees will be featured at the Royal Plaza Trade Center.

The MetroWest Festival of Trees will feature Santa's Workshop, Candy Land, Gingerbread Village, Santa Claus and 125 decorated artificial Christmas trees and wreaths. It all gets under way on Friday, and continues through Sunday at the Royal Plaza Trade Center.

The event also includes a North Pole Playland, miniature Victorian Village and Train Display. More than 50 crafters will display wares.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors (aged 62 and older) and children aged 5 to 12, and children under age 5 are admitted free.

The Festival of Trees is produced by the Marlborough Historical Society and is its major fundraiser. It is presented by Dunkin' Donuts.
