VIDEO: Marlborough Education Foundation Hosts Skating Event
Residents enjoyed skating with the kids for a good cause this past week in Hudson.
Marlborough residents came out to support the work of the Marlborough Education Foundation last week in a roller skating event at Skate Palace in Hudson.
Marlborough Education Foundation was founded in 1997 by parents of children in Marlborough's school system. It's run by volunteers, with all proceeds going towards purchasing and funding equipment for Marlborough's school system. Past projects have included the purchase of electronic whiteboards, video cameras, a wind tunnel at the for engineering courses, instruments for the school's music departments, and quite a bit more.
Total donation into the school system since it's inception in 1997 has been roughly $150,000. They are running a March Madness playoff squares raffle coming up as well. Parents should be getting information in school mail coming home with children sometime soon.
