Furnishing Options Drop Off Drive in Westborough
Furnishing Options, a program of Marlborough-based Employment Options has announced Independent Real Estate Group of Westborough and Humboldt Storage and Moving of greater Boston will run a furniture drive on April 30 to secure much-needed home furnishings for the organization.
The two companies will help Furnishing Options with a goal of securing enough furniture for five entire rooms, enough to fill a moving container. That container will be located at the Green Thumb Garden Center at 187 Turnpike Rd (Rt. 9) on April 30 from 8:00am-noon.
People looking to donate qualified furniture on April 30 must contact Elizabeth Hanson at the Independent Real Estate Group at: 508-864-1012 to arrange for that donation to be accepted.

Also, if you or someone you know is free to volunteer, please let me know if you haven't already. We'll need: Greeters/floaters, People with trucks on standby if needed to either make a Marlborough dump run if we have disposal or perhaps carry overflow to Marilyn's barn (we have two pickups lined up already and a couple more would not hurt), Folks to help pack a POD unit that is being donated, Folks to setup and cleanup, Folks to help with the paperwork.
