Weekly Update (2/9/14)
Good Morning Striders,
Only 2 more weeks to Hyannis!!
Last weekend, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow – but at the end of the day, weren’t we gonna have 6 more weeks of winter anyway???? More importantly, yesterday was “Truck Day” at Fenway – the equipment is on its way to Spring Training!

Hyannis. Pleased to let you all know who our Hyannis team is that will be running down there in just two weeks. And as we all run in a couple of weeks, we will be mindful of our friend John Tanner, who was always such a big part of this day:
From our inbox this week:

subject: Run For Charlotte
I am writing this in hopes that you can spread the word about the 4th annual Run For Charlotte. This is a USATF certified 5 and 10K road race taking place in Braintree on April 27th. This is a great race with lots of food and beer, live entertainment, and award ceremony to follow. There will also be a children's area with games and prizes.
Prayers for Charlotte is a non-profit organization that raises money for research and families fighting cancer. This race is held in memory of my brave five-year-old niece, Charlotte Rose Kelly, who lost her battle to cancer. If you could help to spread the word in any way we would be forever grateful.
Sincerely,
Mary Beth DeCoste
