Hyannis. Only one week to go and Team HCS is ready to go! And as we all run our Hyannis races, we will remember our friend John Tanner, who was always such a big part of this day Good luck to all of our runnahs!
Charity Opportunity. Many of you know Sharon Foster, who leads our Wednesday night speed work sessions at Hudson High. Sharon is running the Boston Marathon this year with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). As a 10+ year leukemia survivor, Sharon is running to raise critical funds for research and treatment to help other have the same great outcome she has. SAVE THE DATE. The HCS Annual Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 12th in the evening – details to follow, but the evening will feature a couple of presentations – one on nutrition and then a demonstration of yoga moves & techniques beneficial to runners.
Introducing the Spirit of Hudson 6K Road Race – Saturday, June 7th in conjunction with Hudson Community Fest. We are currently in the process of putting the road race planning team together. Please consider sharing your talents and help us make this year’s race the best one yet. If you are interested, please send a note back. We will be having the first meeting during the first week of March. The pay is lousy and the 401K is really a 101K, but other than that………Thanks!

I'd like to do a story on a Marlborough runner who is participating in this year's Boston Marathon. I'm particularly interested in speaking with someone who will run Boston for the first time.
