Marlboro's American Legion Shares the Holiday Spirit

Today, ten, beautiful, shiny, red Christmas bags were dropped off at The Advanced Math and Science Academy on Forest Avenue. When asked by the receptionist, "What are they for?" A spokesperson from the American Legion post in Marlboro responded, "They're for Sweats for Vets, we did this last year too."

When Mark Vital, founder of Sweats for Vets gathered the bags from the lobby, he peeked inside to see brand new Patriots sweatshirts. This in fact is the 3rd year in a row that the American Legion has made such a wonderful gift to our homeless veterans.

Sweats for Vets is a non-profit organization centered here in Marlboro. The organization's mission is to collect Boston team sweatshirts in order to give them to homeless veterans throughout the state of Massachusetts. If you would like additional information concerning the organization please go to www.sweats4vets.com.
