Thunderstorm, Flash Flood Watch Issued Into Friday

Rainfall could range between 2 to 4 inches within a short period of time, which may result in significant urban and poor drainage flooding.

The National Weather Service says there is a threat for significant severe thunderstorms in the area this afternoon through tonight.

The storms could bring damaging winds and large hail.

The National Weather Service also issued a flash flood watch from 4 p.m. today, July 26, through Friday. Heavy downpours are expected with these storms.
