My family and friends are always a good source for deals! This week I discovered a way to get a free kid's haircut, free canoeing in Worcester, a 25 percent off coupon to Bob's Stores, enjoy a visitors discount at Macy's, and download a free audiobook.
1) Free kids haircut in August at the JC Penney Salon. Children ages 6-12 can get a free haircut during the month of August. It is highly recommended that you call the salon directly to make an appointment at 508-624-6049. The JC Penney Salon is a full service salon that provides hair, nail, and skincare services and sells a variety salon products. Located inside JC Penney in the in Marlborough. 2) Free Canoeing at Green Hill Park in Worcester. Enjoy an afternoon of paddling and nature on Fridays from 2-5 p.m. at Green Hill Park, located on Skyline Drive in Worcester. Included in this free program are rentals of canoes, paddles, and flotation devices, and basic canoeing instruction is provided. For children ages 6 and older, swimming skills are required. 4) Macy's visitor discount. If you are traveling this summer and need something at Macy's be sure to ask for a welcome pass.
