What do you like about each of the sports you play? Which is your favorite?: I love all of the sports equally but for different reasons. I love field hockey because it comes so naturally, I can just pick up my stick after weeks of not playing and be completely comfortable. I love softball because I have been playing ever since I can remember. It is one of my greatest passions, and this season has made me love it so much more. I love ice hockey because it challenged me more than any other sport I have ever played. I picked it up just this year as a senior. I only played club field hockey during the winter and it wasn’t enough. I have always loved hockey so I simply decided I would play. Every day was a challenge but it was the best decision I have ever made.

Favorite career athletic moment: My favorite athletic moment was making playoffs this year in softball. Our team had worked so hard to get to that point and it was so well deserved. It was such a surreal moment and I am honored I got to spend it with my team; I love them.

Recent Stats (softball): 24 for 60, .400 batting average, 16 RBIs

Future goals: I will most likely be playing both club field hockey and club softball during the next four years of my life.

College plans: I will be attending East Carolina University this fall, majoring in Biology.

What’s on your iPod? I listen to just about everything. I love all types of music from country to rap to classic rock but before every game I listen to a pump up CD that one of our coaches made us. She had us list songs that pumped us up and she made us each a copy of all of the songs put together.

Outside of school: I absolutely love art! I took art classes throughout high school and other than sports it is one of my biggest passions. I may minor in art this fall.
