UPDATED: Marlborough's Own Butler to Play Bruins Tonight

Marlborough native Bobby Butler was recently called up to the Ottawa Senators, and will face the Boston Bruins for the first time this evening.

Butler Scored one of the Senators two goals during the second period in what turned out to be a loss to the Bruins, 4-2.

Marlborough High School grad, former UNH hockey star Bobby Butler will face the Boston Bruins tonight for the first time in his career.

Butler, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, was brought up to the NHL from the organization's affiliate, the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League, after team captain Daniel Alfredsson took himself out of the line-up last Wednesday with lower back problems. Butler has 22 goals and 33 points in 46 games for Binghamton this season, and has scored an additional 2 NHL goals since being called up last week.

The game will air on NESN beginning at 7:30 p.m. 

 In their previous meeting, the Bruins also beat the Senators  6-0.
