Marlborough's Own Butler to Face Bruins Tonight

Marlborough native Bobby Butler was recently called up to the Ottawa Senators, and will start in his second game versus the Boston Bruins this evening.

Marlborough High School grad, and former UNH hockey star Bobby Butler will face the Boston Bruins tonight for the second time in his NHL career.

Butler, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, was brought up to the NHL from the organization's affiliate, the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League, after team captain Daniel Alfredsson took himself out of the line-up several weeks ago with lower back problems.

Butler had 22 goals and 33 points in 46 games for Binghamton before being called up to the NHL, and has scored multiple goals for Ottawa since, including one in the second period of the first game in which he faced the Bruins mid-February. The Bruins won that bout 4-2.
