New England Revolution Academy Soccer Clinic

Local Soccer Players Can Rev up with a Free New England Revolution Academy Clinic

With the long snowy winter months behind us, players, coaches and parents are looking forward to the sunny days spent on the soccer fields of Massachusetts. To get you ready, the experts at Spaulding Rehab are partnering with the New England Revolution Academy to host three free soccer clinics throughout the greater Boston region.  Our first clinic will be held at Fore Kicks in Marlborough on May 5th from 6-8 pm.  Our second clinic will be at JunglePlex in Plymouth on May 19th from 6-8 pm.  Our last clinic will be on June 2nd in Danvers at Strike One on June 2nd from 6-8 pm.  All clinics are for soccer players ages 7- 16. These free clinics will teach players, coaches and parents not just the soccer skills to raise their games but also learn about important topics like proper nutrition and stretching, signs of sports concussions and injury prevention.

Participants will be led by New England Revolution Academy coaches through various skills stations that will challenge a player’s agility, ball control, shooting, and recreate game-like situations.  Expert therapists from Spaulding will show players the same methods to prepare for the season that they use with the New England Revolution as the official rehabilitation hospital of the team. Players, coaches and parents will also be able to hear from Spaulding therapists about key topics like over training and sports concussions.
