Assabet Valley Softball Wins State Title

The girls softball team are the Massachusetts Division 3 champions.

Assabet Valley Technical High School girls softball defeated St. Mary's 5-2, to give the Aztecs its first-ever state title. The Assabet Valley team are the Massachusetts Division 3 champions.

Earlier this month, the girls softball team defeated Quaboag 2-0 in the
Central Division 3 2013 MIAA Softball tournament to earn a spot in the state title game. Assabet was seeded #4 in that tourney, according to the MIAA website.
