Whitcomb Student Exchange Yard Sale Fundraiser Held Saturday

Ten Whitcomb Middle School sixth- and seventh-graders are raising money to go to Japan in October as part of a student exchange program with Marlborough's sister city, Akiruno.
In order to raise money to help pay for their trip, the students are holding several fundraisers throughout the year.
One of their bigger fundraisers is a yard sale, according to parents, and they would love it if the community could help out in this endeavor.
Students are currently collecting donations for the yard sale at the school.
If you have items that you would like to donate for the sale, drop them off during school hours at the Whitcomb Middle School, 25 Union St., through Friday, June 13.
Donations will be accepted after school hours, through 6:30 p.m. on June 13, only.
The yard sale itself will be held in the cafeteria at the school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.
The sale will cash only.
There will be a raffle drawing at 4 p.m. (tickets are currently being sold by the students and will also be sold at the yard sale) and contestants do not have to be present to win.
Snacks and drinks will be sold as well.
