Kane Elementary Principal Kirk Gibbons recently announced that he will be leaving at the end of the school year to take a position in another district. As the district begins its process to identify Kane’s next principal, administrators are seeking input from Kane families as to the characteristics they believe that person should possess to best serve the students and families of Kane School.

Kane parents and guardians are invited to a parent forum at 7 p.m. Monday, May 20, at Kane Elementary regarding the principal search. In addition to discussing characteristics to look for in candidates, the district will share with parents the timeline and process that will be used to select the new principal.
