MPS Announces Dates for STEM Early College Information Sessions

Parents are invited to attend information sessions next week pertaining to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) classes in partnership with Framingham State University. Attached are releases in Spanish and Portuguese.

The are inviting the community to join them next week for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Early College High School parent/student information sessions. 

The sessions will be broken up to focus on certain grades:

Parents of current 8th graders: May 24: Little Theater at 7 p.m.;

Parents of current 5th graders: May 25: Lt. Auditorium at 7 p.m.;

Parents of current 5th and 8th graders: May 31: Little Theater at 7 p.m.

Information to be distributed at these sessions:

  • Background on STEM education
  • Curriculum and structure of the STEM program
  • Early College High School in partnership with Framingham State University
  • Student applications with instructions on how to complete the application process
