Marlborough High School's Jazz Ensemble Takes Gold
The ensemble will perform in Boston at the Hatch Shell Memorial on May 4
On March 29, the Marlborough High School Jazz Ensemble competed in the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Educator’s State Finals in Framingham.
The group was adjudicated by three collegiate jazz professors and received a GOLD medal rating for their outstanding performance.

Special recognition for Outstanding Musicianship went to Connor Bailey on trumpet and Sarah Hanahan on alto saxophone.

This distinction comes with an invitation for the ensemble to perform in Boston at the Hatch Shell Memorial on Sunday, May 4.
