Family Frugalista Save the Date! “Consign My Closet” will hold their fall event in Marlborough from Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 at ! For those of you who don’t know, this is a big children’s consignment event. We are very lucky to have this come to our city! Parents are now registering to consign their gently worn children’s clothing and items. On the day of the sale parents can score some great deals. Consigners come from all over Massachusetts and consign nearly 15,000 items. The event draws over 1000 shoppers over the course of the weekend.

Another BOGO 1/2 deal that I wanted to share: Last week I told my readers about the  I found this deal at the Stride Rite Outlet at the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley in Millbury last weekend. For uniform shoes, they had lots of smaller sizes for boys. They have the leather maryjane uniform shoes for girls. Lots of cute non-uniform styles too, and Saucony running shoes in men's and women's sizes so you can outfit your big kid too. I got some great waterproof Sperry hikers and Saucony running shoes for my 8-year-old son. Socks, flip flops, and waterproofing spray rounded out my shopping trip, also BOGO 1/2.
