Ghost-Hunting in Marlborough: Welcome to the CMPS Blog

Welcome to the first blog by the Central Massachusetts Paranormal Society.

My name is Rev. Dr. Nancy McMillan. I am a minister, pastor at Church of the Legacy. I am a psychotherapist and holistic healer at Holistic Healing. I am a teacher at School of the Legacy (all of them here in Marlboro). I am also an author and a singer. But do you know the one thing people want to know about when they meet me? The fact that I am also a parapsychologist and paranormal investigator - in short a ghost hunter!

I began the Central Massachusetts Paranormal Society (also located in Marlboro) in 2004. After working as a psychic medium for over 20 years I thought there might be other people who had the same interest in the paranormal as I did. I was right.  Within a short period of time, we had 14 members and were training them to be investigators. The difference with our group, known as CMPS, is that we work to prove the existence of ghosts scientifically and do not rely on psychic abilities. We try to capture ghosts on photo, video or voice recording. Even more important, we want to help people who believe that their home or place of business is haunted and help them feel safe. We don't charge for our services and we keep all of our investigations completely confidential.

So the question you may ask is how can I blog about them then? By not revealing the exact location I will be sharing with you the paranormal investigations and experiences of myself and my team members. I will discuss topics of the paranormal including what are ghosts and why are they here? And we'd like to invite you to join our discussions, share your own experiences and feel free to ask questions.
